While weddings in Hawaii are most often located on the shores of sprawling golden sand beaches or lawns of pristine resorts, there’s an alternative not many couples consider – a boat!

Hosting your wedding ceremony and/or reception aboard one of Maui’s finest boats or sailing catamarans is not only romantic but absolutely unique and fun for everyone. You’ll enjoy amazing views of the coastline, neighbor islands and sunset from the water, and have access to all of the amazing perks of weddings in Hawaii without the added stress.
Weddings on the Water: Maui Edition
One of our favorite boats on the entire island is Kai Kanani’s luxury sailing catamaran. The opportunity to sail along the coast of Maui without the noise from a boat engine is truly magical and especially great for intimate wedding ceremonies on the ocean.
The 65′ catamaran is certified for up to 80 guests, though smaller groups will enjoy the added space. The Kai Kanani crew is always extremely welcoming and fun, and provides the perfect environment for enjoying a private ceremony or reception with premium cocktails, food, music, and epic views.
With options for private catamaran sailing for pre-wedding celebrations, rehearsal dinners or wedding ceremonies and receptions, Trilogy offers a personal wedding coordinator to make your ocean wedding a dream come true. Imagine exchanging your vows while cruising to Honolua Bay or along the shoreline of West Maui, or travel to Lanai’s private Hale O Manele Pavilion overlooking the serene Manele Bay for a private ceremony unlike any other.
Choose your custom menu, entertainment options, and more, and party the night away aboard their comfortable sailing catamaran.

Wow, what a fantastic destination wedding. I like your picture.
We are interested in having our ceremony on a boat prior to sailing, just the two of us and two friends. We don’t need to charter the entire boat, would just like to get married then sail with whoever else comes aboard after. Is this an option?
